Packaging choices with a lighter footprint

Custom eco-friendly boxes using recyclable, FSC-sourced, or plastic-free materials, where verified.

Eco Friendly Boxes product range

There is no single definition of "eco-friendly" packaging, which is why we prefer to be specific: recyclable materials, FSC-sourced board from responsibly managed forests, plastic-free finishes, and box sizes built to reduce wasted space and padding. Each of these is a genuine, checkable choice, rather than a vague marketing claim.

Material Choices

Kraft board is naturally recyclable and often biodegradable, giving a natural look at a lower material cost. Corrugated board and standard folding carton stock are both widely recyclable and frequently made using a high share of recycled fibre already, without needing a special "eco" range.

Reducing Plastic

Where a box design would normally use plastic, such as a laminate finish or a window film, plant-based, compostable alternatives are available. Water-based coatings can also replace plastic laminate for a matte or gloss finish, keeping the box more easily recyclable.

Sizing to Cut Waste

One of the simplest ways to lower a box's impact is also one of the most overlooked: sizing it correctly for the product inside. A box built to fit needs less padding, ships less wasted air, and uses less material overall than an oversized generic box.

Order Sizes We Support

Custom eco-friendly boxes are available from around 50 to 100 units, the same accessible order sizes as our standard range, since sustainable choices should not come with a higher minimum order.

Average Prices

As a general guide, eco-friendly box options typically cost between £0.40 and £1.60 per unit, depending on material, size and finish. Kraft and standard recyclable board options often sit at the lower end of this range.

Being Honest About Claims

We will only describe a material or finish as recyclable, biodegradable, or FSC-sourced where that is genuinely true of the specification you order, so you can make accurate claims of your own to customers without risking a misleading statement.

Getting Started

Tell us which part of sustainability matters most to your brand, recyclability, plastic reduction, or responsible sourcing, and we will suggest a specification that genuinely delivers on it. We build a proof before production and UK-wide delivery.
